The R1 Smart Cycling Helmet is a blend of technology and traditional construct, integrating a communication system into the shell of a cycling helmet. Whether you ride alone or in a group, the R1's features appeal to any class of cyclist.

COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR FELLOW RIDERS USING GROUP INTERCOM

The R1 features Group Intercom, allowing you to communicate with other riders wearing an R1. Up to four people can connect to each other and keep a conversation going with a range of up to a 800metres.

By pairing your phone to the helmet, the R1 allows you to hear GPS navigation, take phone calls, hear fitness app cues and listen to your favorite tunes.

PROTECTION FOR THE ROAD, COMFORT FOR THE JOURNEY

The R1 is built to withstand an impact, providing necessary protection thanks to an in-mold polycarbonate shell with expanded polystyrene liner. The helmet is lined with removable and washable inner padding, a smooth eco-leather chin strap with a perfectly placed chin pad, and a spin lock, all for superior protection and a cozy fit.

An optional visor offers sun protection (sold separately).

ENHANCED RIDING EXPERIENCE WITH BUILT-IN COMMUNICATION

The R1's built-in speakers, located above the ears, allow you to listen to your music or to voice communication without the need for headphones. This design enables awareness of your surroundings. The integrated microphone features Sena's patented Advanced Noise Control technology, picking up and transmitting your voice clearly.

ENERGIZE YOUR RIDE WITH SENA APP

Simply pair one of your Sena helmets or communication systems with the Sena Cycling App for quick setup and easy management. You can pair/connect your device through the Bluetooth settings menu on your mobile phone. The Sena Cycling App is compatible with Sena's helmets and communications systems for cyclists.

How To Measure

1. Wrap a soft, flexible measuring tape horizontally around your head 1 inch above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape softly snug, read the length and repeat for accuracy. Use the largest measurement.

2. Select the helmet size that is closest to your head measurement from the Sizing above.
